G: Mit “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…Pt.2″ hat Raekwon ein absolutes Jahreshighlight abgeliefert und mit dem Hype nebenbei für ein mittelschweres Wu-Revival gesorgt. Klar, dass wir Rae auf dem kürzlichen Europa-Trip abpassten und zum splash!-Mag-Plausch einluden. Bevor wir jedoch zum eigentlichen Kern des Interviews kamen (zu sehen in Pt.2!), verriet uns Lex Diamonds was er vom hohen Charteinstieg des Albums hält und warum er das Gefühl hat, diese Platte den Wu-Tang-Fans zu schulden. Doch diese Themen klingen beinahe trivial, verglichen mit den eindringlichen Erfahrungen, die Raekwon von seiner Reise nach Sierra Leone schildert.
E: As “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…Pt.2″ is one of the top albums this year, of course we had to catch Raekwon at his Europe trip a couple of weeks ago. Before we came to the core of the interview (watch out for pt. 2!), Lex Diamonds stated what he thinks about the high chart entry of “OB4CL2″ and why he felt to owe this album to the fans. But it gets more profound, when Rae describes his experiences from his trip to Sierra Leone.
