Nachdem uns Raekwon bereits ausführlich zum Jahresbestenlisten-Spitzenreiter “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II” Rede und Antwort stand (hier), haben wir den Wu-Chefkoch anschließend noch zu einer Runde “Vinylcheck” geladen. Dass sich Raekwon dafür so viel Zeit nahm, haben wir Anfangs nicht erwartet, doch offensichtlich trafen wir mit unserer Selektion genau ins Schwarze. Seht und hört wie Raekwon das erste Mal auf Nas aufmerksam wurde, zu welcher Rap-Crew er und Ghostface als Kids immer aufschauten oder erfahrt welche Rolle die Clarks-Schuhe auf dem Cover der “Ironman” LP spielen.
